Rebecca Guthrie, RVT, RDMS, CST

Rebecca Guthrie is the ultrasound technician and sclerotherapist at the Dermatology & Vein Institute. She performs ultrasounds and assists in completing venous evaluations to precertify patients for surgery. She also starts IV's and assists with vein surgery. She has been working at the office for four and a half years. Her favorite part of her job is getting to know all of the patients and the joy she brings them when she gets rid of their unsightly veins.

Previously, she worked at Northside Hospital as a surgical assistant in the operating room. She is a certified surgical tech and registered diagnostic medical sonographer and a registered vascular technician. She completed her Associates degree in applied science at North Georgia College. She is a fellow of the American Diagnostic Medical Sonographers Society and a fellow of the Association of Surgical Technologists.

Outside the office, she enjoys traveling, hanging out with her family and friends, surfing and snowboarding.
